Responsibilities:

* Reviews data collection and analysis procedures for completeness, consistency of treatment, and accuracy of conclusions.
* Evaluates and interprets geoscientific data in order to formulate a resource exploration, development, management, and/or operation strategy. This includes developing and updating conceptual models of the resource. Prepares reports and/or presentations for management with reviews of findings and recommendations.
* Assists in the maintenance and operations of the geological equipment installed in the field.
* Helps maintain the geological databases, including data quality control, processing and reporting.
* Assists in formulating long-term resource exploration and/or development plans with other Engineering and field groups.
* Provides geoscientific support to other departments.
* Prepares various reports including monthly, semi-annual and annual reports for internal use, government and partners as required.
* Keeps abreast of applicable codes, standards and procedures to maintain up-to-date compliance.
* Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Geophysics.
* Since candidate will work in a geothermal field, experience in gold mining and/or geothermal is preferable.
